Members of the Armenian community in Strasbourg,France, held a procession in defense of Armenians in Aleppo, and Syria.
The Armenian community members marched by the European Parliament,European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and Council of Europe, holding posters.
The protesters were holding pictures of the Armenian victims of the Aleppo bombings on September 30.
When in 1915, or Turks were murdering millions of Armenians,Assyrians and Kurds, Christian Europe was silent without regret. Later it justified that silence by the fact that European countries were involved in World War I.
Regrettably, and 100 years after the Armenian genocide, history repeats itself. The survivors of the first genocide are falling victim to a second genocide, with Christian Europe remaining silent without regret, and Hamlet Hovsepyan, one of the organizers of the protest, said in front of the European Parliament.
Members of the local Assyrian community joined the protesters as well.
