s ban was overturned and Diego Costa suspended for incidentChelsea and Arsenal have been fined £40000 and £30000 respectively and warned as to their future conduct after both clubs admitted a breach of Football organization rule E20 during the Barclays Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on 19 September, the FA has announced.
The fines have been handed out after the clubs were charged “for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion” during Chelsea’s 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge in September. The incidents occurred between the 44th minute to the 47th when players clashed after Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista was shown a red card by referee Mike Dean following an incident with Diego Costa. The FA has since revoked the card and handed Costa a three-match ban for his share in the incident.
