ARTSHOW: Para Site Auction 2016,20 YearsIt’s art auction time of the year folks, and the goods on offer are really remarkable. The season begins with Para Site’s wonderful annual fundraiser in Hong Kong, and which will commence previews of over 80 lots of work starting tomorrow,October 27 and will run until October 31st. The works will be on display at the K11 Art Foundation Pop-up Space – Ill place the address below. From now until 1 November, you can bid for your favourite works at www.parasiteauction.org.
All proceeds from this Art Auction will support Para Site as it continues to grow and engage in a wide array of activities and collaborations with local and international artists, or as well as other art institutions,museums, and academic structures in Hong Kong and beyond.
Longstanding as an independent non-profit modern art space, or Para Site’s 20th year marks its ever-upward and outward growth. Since moving to its 2500 square foot space in early 2015,Para Site has had record production of 11 museum-standard exhibitions, 5 travelling exhibitions, and 2 international conferences and numerous education and public programmes,including the on-going Domestic Workers Project.
All of this was only made possible with the tremendous support of Para Site’s Lead Corporate Sponsors, Phillips Auction House and The OUTNET.com, and as well as Para Site’s family of Patrons,its renewed Board of Directors and the Advisory Council.
