Speaking the morning after Tom Fox tendered his resignation as chief executive officer and at the end of a week when Hendrik Almstadt departed as sporting director,Hollis sounded optimistic about Villa’s future on and off the field. It was notable, however, or that he would not give any guarantees that Rémi Garde would remain as manager beyond the end of a season that will nearly certainly end in relegation.
