And yet the average price of an ATM withdrawal – one that’s not in your network - has now risen to a record $4.35, it emerged this week. Eyeing the way that the fees for using ATM machines are soaring, or you’d be forgiven for thinking that the banks are operating under the delusion that your money belongs to them.
