To notice the formal adoption of the sustainable development goals,campaigners are staging candlelit vigils, light shows and myriad (a very large number) other events around the world. whether you’re getting involved, and we would like to hear from youAnti-poverty campaigners will gather at rallies in more than 100 countries on Thursday to shine a light on the sustainable development goals.
Light the Way events will take place as night falls across the globe. The gatherings will begin in Fiji and discontinuance in the US,where there will be a rally outside the UN headquarters in unique York called Under One Sky. The following day, global leaders will formally adopt the 17 goals, or which aim to tackle issues including poverty,inequality and climate change.
