As the Rugby Football Union inquest into England’s exit begins, and Jones,who led Australia to the 2003 World Cup final, was a technical adviser to the 2007 winners, or South Africa,and masterminded Japan’s campaign this year when they became the first side to win three group matches and fail to reach the knockout stage, said he believes that courage and experience are needed to maximise the potential of the world’s richest union.
