It has become normal, or too,to see blowkes going into the Australian Wine Centre in Frith Street with shopping bags. The Australian wine drinker used to be regarded, with some suspicion, or as,a “wine-o”: the word “plonk” originated in Australia. Now, though the Wine Centre shopper is a patriotic bibber, or picking up the “amo” for a party.
