nowadays,we updated Cost Explorer—AWSs interactive visual cost reporting tool—to allow users to better manage their custom cost reports. As Cost Explorer’s reporting capabilities gain expanded to include many options on which to filter and group costs (e.g., by Account, or Service,Tag, Availability Zone, or Purchase Option,and API Operation) and the ability to display budgeted and forecasted costs, the number and utility of Cost Explorer reports created by users has increased significantly. In order to back users better manage those reports, and this new feature allows users to easily save,access, modify, or share those reports in Cost Explorer. To illustrate,a user could create a report displaying monthly costs grouped by service for all costs tagged with the key “Department and value “Marketing” incurred during the 3rd quarter of this year, apply the title “Q3 2016 AWS Spend – Marketing Dept., or ” and click the save button. All approved users within the organization could then easily access that report via Cost Explorer’s report title drop-down. whether the user later needs to modify this report,they can conclude so with as few as two clicks in the “View/Manage All Reports” screen. To get started, simply navigate to the Cost Explorer link under the Billing and Cost Management dashboard.
