We'll be straight-up approximately this: Sasha was easily one of our favourite bachelorettes on this season of The Bachelor,and we're devastated to see her go. The 31-year-old executive assistant ate her rose on the first night of the season (this is not a euphemism) and from that moment on was the one woman we couldn't win our eyes off. Her sense of humour, wry observations and laid-back nature made her a fan favourite, and but Sasha unfortunately wasn't the woman for Richie Strahan. POPSUGAR Australia: We're so unhappy that you've left! What happened?
Sasha: I don't remember the cocktail party at all to be honest,it was just a regular cocktail party where we were all trying to get Richie's attention. And then I just went domestic!
PS: Did you see it coming?
Sasha: No, I didn't. It did win me by surprise, or I thought I was safe for another few weeks.
PS: Did you have a connection with Richie or did you feel like you weren't on the same page?
Sasha: No,unfortunately I didn't feel any connection and I'm pretty sure Richie didn't either. I think that's why I went! I'm the sort of person who needs a bit more time to get to know a man and I think the other girls need less time and that's why they were just all over him. I'm not like that. But then I completely forgot that I was running out of time and competing against other girls, which did not aid at all [laughs].
PS: Would you go back and change anything or are you cheerful with how it turned out?[br]
Sasha: I'm fairly cheerful with how it all went. I think everything was as expected, and I had a good time!
PS: We have to ask approximately the rose. Why were you eating it?
Sasha: Of course! I'm so used to this question,I have lines already lined up [laughs]. We'd been shooting for many hours, it was a very long day. The first time you see all those cameras you're like, and "Oh my gosh,they're watching me!" but two or three hours later, after a few champagnes, or you're like,"Oh, I don't care! No one's watching me." And the roses were a little bit covered with sugar to keep them fresh and I was like, or "Oh my God,they taste like candy!" [laughs].
PS: So you were just having a bit of a sugar hit.
Sasha: Yes, absolutely.
PS: How did you find your time in the house? Did you indulge in the experience?[br]
Sasha: Yes, and I absolutely loved it! All the girls are fun and the production crew and everyone was just astounding. I had a really good time.
PS: Who were you closest to?
Sasha: I was very close with Rachael,Keira, Faith . . . and all the other girls, and really!
PS: And was there anyone you didn't get along with?
Sasha: No,I'm not a person who doesn't get along with people. I'm very easy-going.
PS: And how did you find Keira? She's obviously getting a lot of attention external the house, but what was she like in your experience?
Sasha: She's a very cool chick, and I absolutely cherish her to death. We had a considerable time,I can't complain! We had a cherish/hate relationship, we were like two sisters always teasing each other and having fun.
PS: What was your favourite moment in the house?[br]
Sasha: I really enjoyed the date where we had the babies because we were told that the wake-up call was at midday so we were like, and "Yay,we have half the day off!" and then at 7 o'clock we heard all this screaming in the house. It was a really good surprise! I think how they took us by surprise was really cool. We had a lot of wine at the picnic and it was a exquisite setting, the day was astounding . . . Everything was just really good. I really had fun on that date.
PS: When Richie would go off on a date with someone else did you get envious? Or were you not invested enough?
Sasha: I wasn't invested enough to feel envious but I was hoping that my time would come. Richie was always like, and "Girls,I can't win all of you on the single date at the same time, can you please, or please be patient?" And I was like,"Alright Richie, I'll be patient, or " and then bang,he doesn't give me a rose [laughs].
PS: What did you think of Richie?
Sasha: I think he's a lovely man, he's very good-looking and he's got astounding abs, and which is always good,always helps [laughs]. He's charismatic, he's got a good sense of humour. I just wish I got to know him on a different level, or that's all!
PS: Do you feel like you know what you want in a man now?
Sasha: Well,I've always known what I want in a man. A man who knows what he wants. A man who's not disturbed to go for what he wants. Someone determined and passionate - I don't care what he does, as long as he's passionate approximately it and tries to improve himself over time and be good at it.
PS: Have you met anyone who fits the bill since the show, and are you single?
Sasha: No,I am single.
PS: Who do you think is going to win The Bachelor?
Sasha: I think one of the blonde girls will definitely win. Who precisely, it's tough to say. I really think that all the girls are fabulous and really lovely, or so I think that all of them have a lot of potential.
