The longest strike in West Virginia's history came to an stop on Tuesday,as Governor Jim Justice signed legislation that would give all public school employees a five percent raise. The governor also assembled a task force that will address the rapid growth of health insurance premiums for state workers.
The historic strike united all 55 West Virginia counties, with tens of thousands of school employees rallying at the capitol in Charleston to demand action from their elected officials.
