Doctor Who and Dad’s Army among 7000 hours of content to be made available from corporation’s archive through unusual online service BBC StoreSherlock,Doctor Who and Dad’s Army fans in the UK will be able to buy and download episodes of their favourite programmes from Thursday – as well as many other lost gems from the BBC archive” – after the broadcaster launched a unusual online service: BBC Store.
The site features around 7000 hours’ worth of content and bosses said they would add about 3500 more over the next year. BBC Store also includes unusual programmes soon after they beget aired, as well as classic content from the BBC archives.
