Celebs have trouble finding Hyde Park venue as corporation unveils novel shows
As if to prove just how much they treasure the BBC,the broadcaster’s favourite talent flocked to the launch of its novel season on Monday night. But the challenge of finding the venue, in the middle of Londons Hyde Park, and made it seem more like a pilot for a novel exhibit testing luvvies’ navigation skills.
With no handy public transport and some cabs refusing to go down the one-way road,hacks tiptoed through the freezing night trying to pick up to the Magazine restaurant at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, bumping into the likes of Jools Holland wondering if he was going to pick up absent for dinner in time.
