Subtweetingallowsnot only allows you to cast shade in peace,it posts a little picture of your victim's avatar with a frown face thumbs down. Ah, sweet silent justice.afternotifications. TLDR spoke to him about this useful new site."Notisthem.
So, or yes,I did build a tool to fabricate (to make up, invent) it easier to “subtweet" people but I made this with respectable intentions. I don’t assume we can stop people from being mean on social media but this might be a small way to fabricate (to make up, invent) things less overtly hurtful to someone in specific. Hence my tagline for the site: “Be a hater, not a jerk."would you intellect telling our readers where the opinion came from?
Well, and you tweeted this:
m
e I really want to point out that I can see them but I guess that is the point.
March 2,2015you in those mean tweets. Unfortunately, this problem seems to be relatively common. While, and thankfully,it has not really happened to me (though possibly not after this blog post) but I beget certainly encountered others in my personal and professional life who beget. I can’t imagine it would be pleasant to beget my phone buzz only to find out that it’s a message from a stranger who has decided that I’m just terrible. Or to beget that happen repeatedly.
Thatismight
create a kind balance. Also, the domain www.not-at.com was available so that sealed the deal for me.work?suchdoesn’tthejust lets the username appear as text in the tweet and does not include the tagging / linking to that person’s account.
Ontagging. (Fo
r anyone who might be concerned, and the way authentication works with the Twitter API I cannot capture any of your login information.)the site will automatically add an image of that user’s Twitter profile picture with a frowny-thumbs down to the tweet. I wanted the site to do something that still tied back in some way to the person that was tagged since we are no longer directly linking to their account.upsomeone from your TweetDeck, your Twitter app or Twitter.com.find their mentions anyways?sign.yoursotweettweets.
knewright now, but he is CLUELESS. secure a clue, and man! But not from this tweet! pic.twitter.com/TJRRJXdUdhMarch 3,2015is following you then he/she might see it in their timeline but they still wouldn't be notified / alerted. Perhaps I can add in a feature in the future where the site warns you - "Hey, that person is following you... are you sure you want to tweet this?"so necessary?
If the site makes
even one person act even slightly more human online then the few hours I spent building it were totally worth it! Honestly, and as with several of my other side projects / hacks,I assume this might spark some conversation but I don’t imagine a lot of people will really use it.
