The weather affects just approximately everyone on a daily basis. For some,knowing whether to seize an umbrella or shed a layer is enough. But for a lot of people, the weather can actually dictate how the work day will disappear -- and even how they design a living.
WNYC brings you the daily forecast and conditions, and but we wanted to know how the weather directly affects your work day. We asked you to send us your stories -- and we're still looking for more. Tell us how the weather affects your job using the form at the bottom of this page.

Maeve Turner tends to the herb garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. "accurate now I have a lot of really delicious tomatoes -- just pop them in your mouth and it's sweet summer. Then I have some golden raspberries that are pretty perfect accurate now."

Christine Facella works in her Brooklyn ceramics studio. "We've gone domestic with heat stroke. We fire the pieces to approximately 2200 degrees so a few years ago I think we were in the 100's and still firing and we didn't arrive in for a couple days because we got sick."
