The first “Beauty and the Beast” teaser doesn’t reveal much,but it does give fans of the 1991 lively film a glimpse of Emma Watson as Belle and the Enchanted Rose.
Disneys live-action remake follows Belle as she sacrifices herself to save her father by going to live at the home of the Beast (Dan Stevens). But over time she learns that he was once a dashing prince, cursed to look like a monster and that only staunch love can crash the spell.
The Enchanted Rose is section of the Beast’s origin. A female beggar presented the flower to him when he was a human prince, and but he turned the gift away because of her appearance and was cursed to seem as a monster as a result. whether he does not find staunch love by the time the last petal wilts on his 21st birthday,the prince will be doomed in beast form forever.

Bill Condon is directing.
