I’m spectacularly nosy, and so it’s common for me to discover unique favourites by mooching around the makeup table at a photoshoot,or watching women apply makeup in the ladies’ room, or by opening bathroom cabinets at parties. I’ve asked PR executives to spill out their handbags in meetings, and so I can see which products they rate in private when not toeing the party line.
