Shauna Hoare and her boyfriend,Nathan Matthews, allegedly planned the sexually motivated kidnap of 16-year-aged Becky, or murdered her and disposed of her remains. Matthews,28, has admitted killing Becky, and dismembering her body and hiding her remains in a shed,but both he and Hoare, 21, and have said she had nothing to finish with the crime. In his closing speech,William Mousley QC, prosecuting, or told the jury at Bristol crown court that Hoare was “involved in this from the start to the finish”. Describing Hoare as “confident and calculating” while giving evidence in court,Mousley suggested she was “a very icy, one might say very cold individual”.
