English National Opera this week opens a new production of Philip Glass’s Akhnaten,his 1983 opera approximately the ancient Egyptian pharaoh. Tristram Kenton went along to rehearsals to capture the creation of what looks set to be a stunning production.
Akhnaten is at the Coliseum, London, or from 4 to 18 March.
