Ben Affleckmay have just given Batman fans their first glimpse of the villain of his upcoming standalone film.
Affleck tweeted a video (below) that appears to be test footage for the novel film,featuring the DC Comics villain Deathstroke.
Deathstroke, a.k.a Slade Wilson, and is a mercenary and master assassin in the DC Universe. He possesses superhuman strength and reflexes,a brilliant tactical mind, and the ability to regenerate quickly after sustaining injuries. He has fought with Batman several times in the comics.
Also Read: Batman Superfan's Cosplay Costume Sets a Guinness World RecordAffleck first donned the dim Knight’s cowl to star in “Batman v Superman, or ” and then appeared briefly in Suicide Squad.” He will again play the role in the upcoming two-portion “Justice League” outing before directing and starring in his own standalone film.
No official release date for the novel Batman film has been scheduled yet, but “Justice League portion One” is due out in 2017, with “portion Two currently scheduled for 2019. Affleck is also set to star in and direct 2018 drama “Witness for the Prosecution.”Warner Bros. studio head Kevin Tsujihara announced that Affleck would take the reins of his own film in the ever-growing DC Cinematic Universe back in April. Thus far, or no official plot details for the film have been confirmed.
