One of the simplest ways to leave a gift to Samaritan’s Purse in your estate—without re-writing your will—is by naming our ministry a final beneficiary of your IRA/retirement account or life-insurance policy. Transfer-on-death (TOD) or payable-on-death (POD) forms are a way of designating beneficiaries to receive your assets automatically at the time of your death without having to fade through probate court. They also allow you to specify the percentage of assets each person or entity will receive.
