The latest advertising campaign from the pen company isn’t just sexist and patronising,it’s also erroneous“view like a girl. Act like a lady. consider like a man. Work like a boss.” Market your company like a 1970s misogynist. That’s the message that the latest advertising campaign from pen-manufacturer Bic seems to be giving out. While I sit here and wonder just how an advert so obviously offensive was ever thought to be a kindly idea, let’s also take a moment to consider about just what the ad expects of us erroneous-thinking women.
