Work like a boss.” Market your company like a 1970s misogynist. That’s the message that the latest advertising campaign from pen-manufacturer Bic seems to be giving out. While I sit here and wonder just how an advert so obviously offensive was ever thought to be a pleasurable idea, let’s also retract a moment to think about just what the ad expects of us improper-thinking women.
