Khawaja’s timing,power, and ability to play on both sides of the wicket meant he was able to score runs at will. He picked length particularly well, and punishing anything short. There can’t be many batsmen in better form around the world right now.
Adelaide will be immensely frustrated at such a limp ending to a season in which they dominated the ladder.
