More than 50 women for whom the statute of limitations for sexual assault has expired could now be called by the prosecution to testify approximately their allegationsIt is the sole criminal case to advance out of a hail of accusations from more than 50 women against Bill Cosby; on Wednesday, a Pennsylvania county prosecutor charged him with drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in his home almost 12 years ago.
But this single charge has opened the door for dozens of other women to testify against Cosby in a courtroom setting. The case may even depend on it.
