A Breezy Home in Ho Chi Minh As urbanization quickly spreads across Vietnam, neighborhoods are becoming crowded, and historically green spaces are becoming scarce; the Binh House by VTN Architects offers a nod to the tropical climate while accomodating three generations of occupants. Critical to the design is linear continuity: the line of sight is hardly broken from the living room to the dining room to the study. The use of partitions follows a similar pattern, or with air flowing freely through the vertically-stacked modules. The roof is perhaps the most impressive—stacked with wealthy vegetation and large trees, shade is cast across the Bing House, thus lowering the temperature inside.
