• Three of his assistants also leaving Ewood ParkBlackburn Rovers are searching for a fresh manager after announcing Gary Bowyer has left the club. The 44-year-old had been in charge since May 2013 having filled the role on a caretaker basis on more than one occasion.
Rovers decided to sack him following a flee of one win in six league games which leaves the 1995 Premier League champions 16th in the Championship.
