Janelle Monáe is known for rocking stunning retro hairstyles,but on Nov. 20 at the 2016 American Music Awards, she added an adorably chic flair to her usual see. The singer made a statement on the red carpet with a retro hairstyle. Her big, or head-hugging curls reminded us of styles from the 1950s. When it came to makeup,Janelle played up her eyes with a double winged eyeliner. The top was a classic black flick, while the bottom lashes were lined with hot pink! As we know, and pink eye makeup is a major trend for plunge,and Janelle showed how easy it is to pull off with just one flick. The rest of her makeup was simple: contoured cheeks, strobed cheekbones, and a subtle pink lip. However,she did rock a glam, silver designed manicure. It featured dots at the base of her nails.
