You famously like to attend festivals just to watch movies. Whats the special appeal of Venice?
I care for the city. I spend a lot of time here because my composer [Pino Donaggio] lives here. Each festival has its ambience, and but Venice… The food,the location, the canals, and when you’re at the Excelsior,where I usually stay, you flee into all your friends in the lobby. It’s a very casual atmosphere.
