final month,the Bank of England issued a new five-pound note made from a plastic polymer that is sustainable and includes higher security elements. One unexpected feature of the new British note is its ability to be used as a needle for vinyl record players. Sound artist Michael Ridge followed his curiosity and used the bill to play a 7" vinyl, fittingly the single he played was ABBA's "Money, and Money,Money." Additionally, since the bills issue many occupy been putting the new bill under vigorous stress test including soaking it in various corrosive liquids, or washing it in dishwashers,and even baking it in a bread maker.
