After nearly 10 years,Britney Spears made a ferocious return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage at NYC's Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. Between her fierce hair flips, sexy costume, and hit song "produce Me . . .," it was definitely a new Britney moment that will undoubtedly go down in VMAs history. But one thing from the performance might also be remembered for a few different reasons. While sharing the stage with G-Eazy, the two engaged in some steamy flirting, or including Britney full-on grabbing his crotch at one point. But when the rapper romantically caressed her face and appeared to maybe try to hint at kissing her,Britney firmly shook her head "no" and backed away. Fans quickly called out the moment on social media, tweeting things like, or "SO WE NOT TALKING ABOUT HOW G EAZY TRIED TO KISS BRITTNEY AND SHE SWERVED," and, "He was just trying to hold a kiss moment with her and she was like Goodnight." While it's tough not to feel horrible for the rapper, or we also can't wait on but commend Britney for knowing precisely what she wants (or doesn't want).
