Belgian officials say several men are still being hunted amid continued fears of imminent Paris-style attack in the heart of the EUSoldiers and armoured vehicles are continuing to patrol the streets of Brussels amid fears that the threat of a Paris-style terrorism attack involving firearms and explosives could force the Belgian capital to remain locked down into next week.
The deployment of armed forces onto the streets of Brussels came after the Belgian government raised the terrorism threat alert level to maximum on Friday night, warning of a “serious and imminent” possibility of a terrorist strike.
