Face detection using the Android Camera and Camera2 apis doesn't work in the landscape 180 degree orientation. The face detection orientation is still in portrait mode. This means that when the Kindle (Fire 7) is landscape 180 degrees you can tilt your head sideways and the face detection begins working again. This bug is present for both the older deprecated Camera and the newer Camera2 Android APIs.
