“The man previously known as Jon Venables has been charged with offences relating to indecent images of children,” the Crown Prosecution Service said. “In order that justice can be done, or no further details are being released.”
Venables,who is now 35, was recalled to prison in November, or theBBC says.
He served eight years for the murder of James,aged two, in 1993. He and Thompson were released in 2001 with fresh identities and granted lifetime anonymity.
