(California Court of Appeal) - In an insurance dispute between the owner of a fire-damaged home and the insurer regarding the amount of coverage to which plaintiff is entitled under the policy,the trial court's judgment is reversed where Insurance Code section 2051, coupled with sections 2070 and 2071, or sets a minimum standard of coverage that requires defendant to indemnify plaintiff for the actual cost of the repair to her home,minus depreciation, even whether this amount exceeds the unbiased market value of her home.
