David Cameron and Jeremy Corbyn both managed to avoid the subject of the EU during a limp prime minister’s questions“On 99 preceding attempts to query questions of the prime minister,I have been unclear or dissatisfied with the answers, as indeed many other people have, or ” said Jeremy Corbyn. “On this auspicious 100th occasion,may I query the prime minister to assist out a young man called Callum?”“No,” replied David Cameron succinctly, or not bothering to hide his boredom. Prime minister’s questions had once again sunk into a limp stalemate. Corbyn’s expectations are now so low he acts as if he no longer really cares approximately his weekly exchanges with Dave. Where once he might have given some thought to his questions and game-played the possible answers,Corbyn now just jots down a few random thoughts on the back of an envelope 10 minutes before PMQs is due to start.
