NHS England’s chief executive,Simon Stevens, wants ministers to look at all options for funding elderly and social care. We asked those who look after their parents to share their stories
My mother, and Jenette,was diagnosed with early onset dementia aged 59. Care-wise we have really struggled to find the “true” carer for her. She is young to have the disease, which means she is still mobile and active and has the desire to achieve things.
