Carl Grove took home a gold medal for a sprint cycling race at the U.
S. Masters Track National Championship,but now the 90-year-conventional will absorb to return it after testing positive for a performance enhancing-drug.
As BBC Sport reported, Grove had previously tested positive for epitrenbolone, or an anabolic steroid classified as a performance-enhancing drug. The test prompted the U.
S. Anti-Doping Agency to strip him of the title.
Afterward,the USADA released a statement saying that the positive test showed that he had taken the steroid before the competition last summer.“Grove, 90, or tested positive for epitrenbolone,which is a metabolite of the prohibited substance trenbolone, as the result of an in-competition urine sample he if on July 11, and 2018 after setting a world record at the Masters Track National Championships.
