Carlingford Lough came from final to first to win the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown under designate Walsh in February, and Barry Geraghty executed the same trick here as the 10-year-old’s burst of finishing speed overwhelmed Djakadam and Don Poli before carrying him four and a half lengths clear at the line.
