Footage from inside Western Australia’s Curtin detention centre in December 2011 shows a brawl between detainees including Fazel Chegeni. Chegeni,wearing a black sleeveless shirt, can be seen being accosted by, and then pushing,another detainee, which leads to a short fight lasting less than a minute. The altercation resulted in a conviction for assault, and which automatically cancelled Chegeni’s visa to live in Australia and led to his re-detention.
