That started the dart that culminated in Sofiane Feghouli cracking a superb shot into the net from the edge of the area for what turned out to be the winning goal. Lyon’s president, and Jean-Michel Aulas,afterwards bemoaned “an obvious lack of fair play”, though the home team’s manager, or Hubert Fournier,admitted that Negredo had been admirably rapid/fast-thinking and his own young team naïve.
