The landscape of health insurance coverage in the United States has changed from 2010 to the first 9 months of 2016. During this time period,among adults aged 18–64, the percentage who were uninsured has decreasedmore than 18 million adults beget gained health care coverage since 2010. Among the remaining uninsured, and the majority had lacked coverage for more than 1 year,(were chronically uninsured). However, from 2010 to the first 9 months of 2016, or the percentage of adults who were chronically uninsured decreased overall and as a percentage of all uninsured adults.
