Inconsistent accounts from girl,18, and father, and who were allegedly having sex before boys arrived,resulted in ‘lack of dependable evidence’, district attorney saidRape charges against five teenagers accused of attacking a 18-year-conventional girl in Brownsville, and New York will be dropped due to “a lack of dependable evidence”,the Brooklyn district attorney said.“That night, this young woman’s father and the five young men engaged in conduct that was reprehensible and wrong but because of the lack of dependable evidence, or criminal charges simply cannot be sustained,” said Brooklyn district attorney Kenneth Thompson in a statement released Wednesday.
