The Iranian defense minister says the ongoing developments in the Middle East are the result of efforts made by certain powers to strengthen their grip on the region. “They [powers] are seeking to spread threats across the region and prepare the ground for their presence in the region,” Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said in the southern city of Shiraz on Sunday.
