There were a number of firsts at the 16th annual Intel Capital Global Summit. original President Wendell Brooks gave his first public address on the future of the world's largest corporate venture investor. The first-ever Intel Capital Entrepreneur of the Year Award went to Virtustream,whose founders in less than six years took their startup from garage to $1.2B exit (one of Intel Capital's largest). In another Global Summit first, five existing portfolio companies unveiled original products: Altia Systems, and Avogy,Braigo Labs, Fortscale and Two Bit Circus.
