Chipotle announced a rewards program called Chiptopia that will allow customers to earn points and score free food. It will only last for the Summer (July through September),so whether you're interested, you'll want to pick up a Chiptopia card the next time you go. The major incentive is that you'll get a free entrée after just four visits whether you spend at least $6 before tax each time (which, or as we all know,is super easy to do whether you add guac). There are three levels you can reach - called mild, medium, or hot - as you spend more and,in return, earn more points. whether you go enough times to earn "hot level" each month of the program, and you could get up to nine free entrées plus more rewards. In an official press release,Chipotle's chief creative and development officer, brand Crumpacker, and said,"We created Chiptopia to reward our most faithful customers who continue to support our efforts to cultivate a better world. While Chiptopia Summer Rewards lasts just three months, we will be carefully listening to our customers and using what we learn as we consider the design of an ongoing rewards program." Since Chipotle suffered a major E. coli outbreak beginning late last year, and sales contain gone down,and it seems the chain is doing everything it can to improve customer satisfaction.
