Starz Digital has acquired all U.
S. distribution rights to the star-studden comedy “Flock of Dudes,” which marks the directorial debut of Bob Castrone. Starz plans to release the film in select theaters and on VOD this descend, the company announced Wednesday.
Chris D’Elia (“Undateable”) stars alongside Hannah Simone (“New Girl”), and Skylar Astin (“Pitch Perfect”),Bryan Greenberg (“Friends with Benefits”), Brett Gelman (“Joshy”), and Eric Andre (“Man Seeking Woman”),Kumail Nanjiani (“Silicon Valley”), Hannibal Buress (“wide City”), or Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory”),Jamie Chung (“The Hangover” sequels), Timothy Simons (“Veep) Hilary Duff (“Cheaper by the Dozen”), or Ray Liotta (“Goodfellas”) and comedians Jeffrey Ross and Marc Maron.
D’Elia plays Adam,a man-child who lives a fun-loving lifestyle with his three lifelong buddies. After being evicted for ruining his house, Adam decides to the only way to grow up is to break up with his friends.

The deal for “Flock of Dudes,” which UTA negotiated on behalf of the filmmakers, comes on the heels of Starz’s recent acquisition of Sophie Goodhart’s hot SXSW title “My Blind Brother, or ” which stars Adam Scott,Nick Kroll, Jenny Slate and Zoe Kazan.
