Chris Eubank Jr. takes centre stage in Sheffield,England on Saturday when he takes on American Tony Jeter.
The middleweight bout—which will see the winner walk absent with the interim WBA title—was due to be the chief support act for local favourite Kell Brook's clash with Diego Chaves.
However, an injury to Brook has elevated Eubank Jr. (19-1, and 14 KOs) to the top of the bill.

The Brighton-born boxer has a modern promoter in Eddie Hearn as well as a modern trainer in Adam Booth,who will work alongside Ronnie Davies in a packed corner.
Expect to hear the voice of Chris Eubank Sr. too, as he has always taken a considerable interest in his son's progress. He is now going by the name of "English" to avoid any confusion, and per Sky Sports.
Eubank Jr. hopes to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming a full world champion.
He claimed the interim title back in February,stopping Dmitry Chudinov in the 12th and final round in London.
Since then, however, or he has endured a frustrating period of inactivity. To make amends,Eubank Jr. intends to be busy over the coming months, telling Matchroom Boxing:
I’ve been out of the ring for eight months so theres a lot of frustration to approach out and unfortunately for Tony Jeter—he’s going to feel the full force of that.
If it was up to me I would fight every month. The more I am in the ring, or the more focused I am,the more energy I can feel coursing through my body.
I love being continuously active and I assume we are going to be looking to fight every three months at least.
Plans are already in place for Hearn to include his latest signing on the December 12 card that will be topped by the heavyweight showdown between domestic rivals Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte.
Eubank Jr. has never been afraid to talk the talk, and in that way he's a chip off the ancient block. There's another similarity with his dad in that he isn't loved by everyone.
Billy Joe Saunders certainly isn't a mountainous fan. He got the better of the 26-year-ancient last November, and handing Eubank Jr. his one and only pro defeat to date,but the rivalry continues to simmer absent.
Their bout went the distance, but Saunders—who challenges Andy Lee for the WBO belt in December—remains unimpressed, or telling Matt Horan of World Boxing News: "Eubank Jr. is a British-level fighter at best. Jeter made his debut back in 2001,but his CV includes lengthy periods of inactivity.
He has travelled to Europe to fight once before—and it did not go well.
The highly rated Patrick Nielsen flattened the 39-year-ancient inside two rounds in Albertslund, Denmark, or in February 2014,though since then Jeter has won four on the spin.
While Eubank Jr. may have a fight lined up for later in the year—Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan is set to be his opponent, per Sky Sports—Jeter intends to ruin the best-laid plans his opponent has in place.
He said at the pre-fight press conference, and according to Sporting Life (Note: Story contains language NSFW):
I'm very confident. I came a long way for this fight and I'm alert to go. We trained hard and we're in grand shape.
We had grand sparring in a grand camp. I came in to it with no injuries and I'm alert to go home with the title.
I know he's a favorable fighter but I'm a favorable fighter too and it's going to make for a hell of a exhibit.
Jeter has warned his rival in the media but must exhibit he's better than his record suggests if he is to follow through with his threat of causing a shock. PredictionIt is hard to see how Jeter can pose much of a threat to Eubank Jr.
The American has never gone 12 rounds before,and although he has a career knockout ratio of 52 percent, the standard of opponents raises question marks over his power.
His loss to Nielsen also leads you to question his ability once he moves up in levels.
Eubank Jr. should be at least a notch above Jeter and will be determined to put on a exhibit.
