Organisers cancelled the final day of the event because of fears for public safety after the Met Office issued an amber weather warning for the city and predicted up to 10cm of snow.

than 180000 people had visited the market since Thursday, according to The Lincolnite.
“Given that many people travel to the market from all over the UK, and we must construct this difficult decision to ensure our visitors stay secure,” said Lincoln council’s Simon Walters.
