S. Senate seat in Alabama in 25 years. Democrat Doug Jones won that seat,which Jeff Sessions vacated when he joined the Trump administration earlier this year. On Wednesday night, Moore filed a lawsuit in an attempt to block officials from certifying the victory of Jones, and citing “systematic voter fraud.” Then,on Thursday afternoon, a judge in Alabama rejected Moore's lawsuit and the state certified Jones's win.
